Public employers, including educational or governmental institutions, are prohibited from imposing COVID-19 vaccination mandates. Violations for public employers can be reported to the Florida Department of Health through:
Florida Statute § 381.00317 prohibits private employer COVID-19 vaccination mandates unless the employer provides employees certain individual exemptions from the vaccine requirement. Employees wishing to file a complaint must complete the Department’s Private Employer Vaccination Mandate Complaint online form. Complaints may also be submitted by email to:
